KMC is an independant production unit directly subordinated to the County Council of Östergötland and the University of Linköping.

KMC:s mission is to pursue research, development and education within the areas of Disaster Medicine and Traumatology, at a regional, national and international level.

Course dates for international Senior instructor course 2017
Next international SIC will be held in August 22-24 2017.

International ETS Senior instructor course November 2016
In November 15-17 the ETS Competence center held an international ETS Senior instructor course with participants from 9 different countries.
Number of participants was 17 from United Kingdom, Tunisia, Australia, Holland, Denmark, Hong Kong, Finland, Sweden and Korea.

Emergo Train System workshop in Korea
KMC had in October an ETS workshop on the International Conference on Disaster Nursing in Korea.

ETS Senior instructor course
This week an international Senior instructor course was held at the ETS Competence center in Sweden. 16 students from Finland, Belgium, Denmark, The Netherlands and Korea are now certified ETS Senior instructors and can run exercises in their own country!

Third international Emergo Train System workshop
On June 6 2015 the third international Emergo Train System workshop was held in Toyama, Japan. There were ETS Senior instructors and Educators from Japan, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Kenya and Sweden present.
